Job Description\n

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Cardiothoracic ICU night shift position requiring a MO or compact license and at least one year of recent CTICU experience.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

  • Work in the Cardiothoracic Intensive Care Unit (CTICU) of a hospital
  • Night shift schedule from 7 : 00 PM to 7 : 00 AM
  • 13-week contract assignment
  • Patient population includes adult cardiothoracic ICU cases
  • Up to 5 days of requested time off allowed, must be made up during the assignment
  • Blocked scheduling may be allowed based on facility needs
  • Candidates living within 50 miles of the facility will be considered local and subject to local contract limitations
  • Subcontractor staff within 50 miles can complete up to 3 consecutive 13-week local contracts before a mandatory 1-year separation or transfer to another facility outside the radius

  • Active MO or compact RN license in hand at the time of consideration
  • Minimum 1 year of recent experience in a Cardiothoracic ICU
  • Current required certifications with none expiring within 30 days of assignment unless renewal is scheduled
  • Valid U.S. Social Security Number required
  • No gaps of 90 or more days in employment history within the past 12 months
