Must-Have :

Pediatric experience required

Description :

This position requires a Pediatric Registered Nurse.

Candidates will float between units as needed.

Occasional weekend shifts are required, including Saturday and Sunday.

Block scheduling is expected.

The expected patient-to-nurse ratio is 1 : 4.

Previous charge experience is preferred.

Candidates must have experience with pediatrics.

Skills required include BiPAP / CPAP, central line care, and management of dysrhythmias.

Providers will manage oxygen delivery systems and provide breastfeeding support.

The daily census for the unit is approximately 29 patients.

Interdisciplinary support is available, including physical therapy and respiratory services.

Providers will be part of a team that includes social services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams.

Travelers may be expected to float between nearby facilities.

Refusal to float may affect the assignment status.

Providers will need to request time off and specific scheduling needs during the application process.

Inflexibility in scheduling could lead to termination of the contract.

Providers must commit to working three out of five major holidays.
