Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Full Time Contract for the 25 / 26 school year

Pay : $33-$38

Job Requirements

Applicants must hold a valid Connecticut Special Education teaching certification. A bachelors degree in Special Education or a related education field is required. Candidates should also meet all state guidelines for licensure through the Connecticut State Department of Education, including completion of any necessary endorsements and clear background history.

Job Duties

The Special Education Teacher will provide individualized instruction and support to students with IEPs across various settings. Responsibilities may include writing and implementing IEP goals, collaborating with general education staff, monitoring student progress, managing classroom behavior plans, maintaining documentation, and communicating regularly with families and school teams. Candidates should feel comfortable working with diverse learning needs.
