Tremco Construction Products Group brings together Tremco CPG Inc.'s Commercial Sealants & Waterproofing and Roofing & Building Maintenance divisions; Tremco Barrier Solutions Inc.; Dryvit, Nudura and Willseal brands; Prebuck LLC; Weatherproofing Technologies, Inc.; Weatherproofing Technologies Canada and PureAir Control Services, Inc. Altogether, Tremco CPG companies operate 21 manufacturing facilities, 6 distribution sites, and 3 R&D / technology sites, and employ more than 2,700 people across North America.

The Talent Acquisition Specialist at Tremco Commercial Sealants and Waterproofing is responsible for driving revenue and margin goals within the corporate framework by securing, developing, and managing key accounts including architects, designers, general contractors, distributors, subcontractors, and end-users in the SE Region. This role owns related performance and service metrics for assigned accounts. Preference is for candidates residing in Louisiana or Mississippi to support the SE territory.

This position supports Tremco Commercial Sealants & Waterproofing, Dryvit and Modulite product lines.

Location note : Baton Rouge, LA.

Responsibilities

  • Achieves or exceeds assigned sales goals and expectations.
  • Work with existing accounts while developing new opportunities to increase use of Tremco CPG products in the assigned territory.
  • Manage assigned accounts to establish business development opportunities through account penetration, analysis, partnership with key decision makers, and strategic initiatives.
  • Drive product specifications and project opportunities throughout the assigned territory.
  • Leverage industry knowledge, marketplace dynamics, and key relationships to develop trusted partnerships and advisory relationships with customers, focusing on problem identification, exploration and resolution.
  • Annually prepare and deliver strategic business / territory plans for each customer with monthly forecasts.
  • Follow the standard sales process to identify prospects, gain customer commitment, forecast sales probability, and close deals.
  • Maintain day-to-day contact, exchange information ethically, and address issues directly in pursuit of mutual interest.
  • Develop and deliver technical, high-quality collateral, product prospectus, presentations, and business correspondence to support the sales process.
  • Collaborate with senior staff to coordinate and execute product knowledge training sessions with internal and external customers as appropriate.
  • Use technology daily for lead generation, account maintenance, sales tracking, forecasting, and customer interactions.
  • Work with internal support resources to foster teamwork and professional relationships.
  • Attend and present Tremco products and services at industry conventions and trade shows.
  • Maintain extensive product knowledge across product lines and services.
  • Adhere to company policies, pricing, and procedures while upholding a professional company image.
  • Perform other related duties as required or assigned.

Qualifications

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Business, Sales, Construction Management and 2-3 years of construction or industry experience OR 5 years of construction or industry experience with a minimum High School Diploma or GED.

Experience

  • Two or more years of related experience and / or training
  • Construction knowledge (e.g., waterproofing, air barriers, framing, modular, EIFS); EIFS experience highly preferred
  • Basic knowledge of product chemistries
  • Other Skills and Abilities

  • Ability to travel extensively within the assigned territory
  • Well-organized, self-motivated with strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Salesforce.com or other CRM experience preferred
  • Professional curiosity to understand how things work

  • Physical Demands

    Incumbent must be able to stand, walk, sit, use hands, reach, kneel, talk, hear, and lift up to 25 lbs.

    Benefits and Compensation

    The base salary range for applicants in this position is $87K and up and goes up based on experience plus incentive compensation. This range is an estimate based on qualifications and company needs.

    Tremco offers a variety of benefits, including health insurance, paid holidays, PTO, 401(k) with company match, Company Pension Plan , performance-based bonus / commission, and continuing education.
