Job Description
Working closely with the sales department, Project Estimators are responsible from the beginning of a project, leading the process of project estimation, system design and budgeting of public bid, design build, and Turn-Key projects.
Reports to : Director of Project Delivery
Duties and Responsibilities :
- Responsible for the accurate take-off and estimation of public bid, design-build, and fixture package projects.
- Prepare estimating work up sheets for both private and public bid projects.
- Produce Bill of Materials, product data sheet sets, and proposal documents for the outside sales team.
- Track bid dates and project bid schedule.
- Assist with the registration of projects with vendors.
- Assist sales team with identifying and qualifying a job before starting a workup.
- Review and interpret detailed job specifications and scope of responsibility for public bid estimates.
- Research, Identify, and source products that are required for the estimate but not in our current price lists.
