Job Summary :

The Patient Access Representative / Call Center Agent is responsible for managing all aspects of patient admissions and registration. This includes securing accurate demographic and financial information, verifying insurance eligibility (government and non-government), processing Workers Compensation claims, and collecting required payments such as co-pays, deductibles, and cash packages.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Perform patient registration and pre-registration activities with precision and confidentiality
  • Verify insurance coverage and eligibility for government, non-government, and Workers Compensation plans
  • Collect and process patient payments including co-pays, deductibles, and cash packages
  • Handle high-volume, multi-line telephone calls in a healthcare call center environment
  • Provide exceptional customer service to patients and internal stakeholders
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in EPIC scheduling system

Required Skills :

  • Call center operations
  • Customer service excellence
  • EPIC scheduling system proficiency
  • Qualifications :

  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience in a healthcare setting
  • Proven experience with EPIC, specifically scheduling functionality
  • Demonstrated ability to manage high-volume calls in a fast-paced healthcare call center
  • Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.00 / hr.
