As a specialized nurse, you will assist in providing vital care of the highest level to critically ill or seriously injured patients in our ICU department. Likewise, you will be trained extensively to treat patients who have undergone invasive surgery, as well as those who have suffered heart attacks or strokes.\n\nMoreover, you will be expected to perform a variety of tasks that may include the following : \n

• Responding to medical emergencies\n
• Carrying out follow-up visits\n
• Performing diagnostic tests\n\nOur ideal candidate will have a highly-analytical mindset and a motivated team player, along with possessing superb interpersonal and communication skills, who will be responsible for administering personalized services to our valuable patients.\n\nResponsibilities : \n
• Monitor and evaluate the progress of the patient.\n
• Recognize and identify subtle or sudden changes in the medical condition of the patient.\n
• Present doctors, as well as patients and their family members, with regular updates.\n
• Administers medications and care in compliance with mandates and policies.\n
• Respond to a medical emergency if necessary and notify or alert the appropriate doctors immediately.\n
• Take care of the needs of the patients while they are recovering in the ICU unit.\n
• Fulfill all required paperwork before transferring a patient.\n
• Maintains documentation of patient status per standard.\n
• Design and execute effective care plans.\n

• Associates Degree in Nursing required; Nursing Diploma or by endorsement\n
• Bachelors Degree in Nursing preferred\n
• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing required for new graduates, preferred for experienced RNs\n\nExperience Requirements\n
• One year experience preferred\n
• Nursing skills and knowledge base specific to specialty\n\nLicenses / Certification Requirements\n
• RN License required; Current state nursing licenses or valid RN license from a participating state in the National Licensure Compact\n\nPhysical Requirements\n
• Medium Work - (Exert up to 50lbs force occasionally, and / or up to 20lbs frequently, and / or up to 10lbs constantly)\n\nThe schedule for this position is three 12 hour shifts per week with rotating weekends and holidays (6pm-6am)
