Podiatrist (1099 Independent Contractor) - Western Maine (New Graduates can also apply)
Job Type : Full-Time, Independent Contractor (1099)
Shifts : Monday to Friday 8-hour shifts
Key Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive foot and ankle exams to diagnose and treat various conditions.
Develop individualized treatment plans focused on long-term outcomes.
Educate patients on preventive foot care, rehabilitation, and overall wellness.
Travel to local nursing homes to provide podiatric care.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary medical teams (e.g., ER, internal medicine, hospice, pain management, immunology, pediatrics).
Maintain detailed, compliant, and accurate medical records.
Requirements :
Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) from an accredited program.
Completion of a 3-year podiatric residency.
New Graduates can also apply for this position
Valid license to practice podiatry in the state of Maine (or ability to obtain).
Willingness to travel to local facilities (e.g., nursing homes).
Passionate about improving patient outcomes and delivering personalized care.
Preferred Qualifications :
Board Certified (preferred, not required).
Background or knowledge in internal medicine or hospice / palliative care is a plus.
