Pay Information

$370 to $380 per hour

About The Position

  • Seeking a full-time Locum Orthopedic Surgeon to provide clinical, surgical, and trauma care, including call coverage and follow-up clinic visits. The role includes inpatient responsibilities such as rounding on post-op patients, conducting consults, and performing surgeries.

Job Responsibilities :

  • Provide clinical and surgical orthopedic care, including trauma cases.
  • Round on post-operative patients and manage inpatient / ED consults.
  • Perform orthopedic procedures such as total joint replacements and fracture care.
  • Supervise Advanced Practice Providers and collaborate with medical staff.
  • Participate in teaching opportunities for residents and students.

    Job Requirements

  • Board Certified in Orthopedic Surgery (Board Eligible not accepted).
  • Clean malpractice history.
  • Active Iowa medical license or active IMLC.
  • Availability at least 2 weeks per month.
  • Experience in trauma and orthopedic surgical procedures required.
