Our client, a leader in the manufacturing and engineering industry, is seeking a Tech 2, Packaging Engineering to join their team. As a Tech 2, Packaging Engineering, you will be part of the Packaging Department supporting engineering and testing teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical skills, proactive problem-solving abilities, and excellent communication skills, which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title : Tech 2, Packaging Engineering Location : Vernon Hills, IL Pay Range : What's the Job? Support daily activities in the test lab, including equipment qualification and test method validation (TMV) development. Perform bench-level engineering tests for design verification, stability, feasibility, and test method development. Assist in review of test requests to ensure accuracy and support lab for TMVs. Develop proficiency in environmental chamber supervision, aging program coordination, and equipment maintenance. Support compliance with EHS requirements and maintain good documentation practices (GDP, GLP). What's Needed? Technical knowledge of lab testing procedures and equipment qualification processes. Ability to troubleshoot and resolve test-related issues independently. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail for documentation and process management. Experience supporting test method validation and engineering projects. Commitment to safety standards and environmental health and safety (EHS) protocols. What's in it for me?
