• Weekly Pay : $2,430 (taxable)\n
• Travel Per Diems : $1,442 per week\n
• Meals : $74 / day = $518 / week\n
• Housing : $132 / day = $924 / week\n
• Estimated Total Weekly Pay : $3,872 / week\n

• Active California RN License (must be in hand at time of application)\n

• BLS (AHA)\n
• ACLS (AHA)\n
• CNOR (Certified Nurse Operating Room)\n
• RNFA (Registered Nurse First Assistant License)\n

• Minimum 2 years of recent Operating Room – First Assist experience within the last 3 years\n
• Must have experience in Ortho, Robotics, Neuro, and GYN surgical procedures\n

• 1 Supervisor reference (within last 1 year)\n

• Must not have worked as a permanent or per diem employee of the associated health system within the past year\n
• Must be willing to work 2 of the 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's)\n
• Floating required between affiliated surgical sites\n\nResponsibilities\n
• Serve as First Assist during surgical procedures, supporting surgeons with : \n
• Retraction, exposure, and tissue handling\n
• Hemostasis and wound closure\n
• Suturing, stapling, and dressing application\n
• Maintain sterile technique and ensure patient safety throughout the procedure\n
• Collaborate with the surgical team to provide seamless perioperative care\n
• Accurately document all care and intraoperative events in Cerner EMR\n
