Your Role as an Occupational Therapist

As an Occupational Therapist at Avante at Ocala , you will provide and direct services to residents, including :

  • Assessing residents in need of skilled occupational therapy intervention.
  • Interpreting and communicating results of assessments.
  • Designing and executing appropriate treatment plans.
  • Documenting daily care in accordance with established guidelines.
  • Education and Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Successful completion of the National Certification Examination for O.T.R.
  • Current state licensure or license eligibility.
  • 0-3 years of long-term care experience.
