Job Description :
The Roofing Estimator procures projects and either stays involved in the management of the jobs or hands off to project management team.
Responsibilities include :
- Perform analysis of potential projects to identify opportunities for bidding and develop, maintain and grow relationships with general contractors, owners, consultants, and developers.
- Perform material and labor takeoff from electronic and paper project documents and site visits. Identify needs for subcontractors and develop a labor plan to perform the work and calculate requisite costs.
- Research building systems, manufacturers, distributors, and subcontractors to identify exact needs and pricing of the project requirements.
- Compile a comprehensive price proposal and scope of work to present to clients.
- Direct support staff to create an accurate submittal package and work with vendors to obtain the required construction elements.
- Coordinate with field superintendents to communicate the vision and specifications
