- Seeking a second pediatric-pulmonologist who is open minded & willing to work with the team and help building up this branch of the practice.
- The work will be split between Clifton and Denville. The hospital is in Denville.
- Sleep training is a plus.
- Schedule : Mon-Friday with equal split call schedule based on how many providers are available.
This is a new division dedicated to providing specialized pediatric pulmonary care. They are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Pediatric Pulmonary Physician to join this newly created branch. This position plays a key role in shaping the department and ensuring the highest level of care for children with respiratory conditions.Qualifications :
Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree from an accredited institution.Board Certification in Pediatrics and Pediatric Pulmonology.Valid medical license to practice in New Jersey.Experience in pediatric respiratory procedures such as bronchoscopy and pulmonary function testing.Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a team-oriented environment.Excellent communication skills for interactions with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.Commitment to patient-centered care and continuous professional development.Responsibilities :
Provide expert medical care for children with pulmonary disorders, including asthma, cystic fibrosis, chronic lung disease, and sleep-related breathing disorders.Diagnose and manage respiratory conditions using advanced diagnostic tools and treatments.Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to create personalized care plans for each patient, including pulmonologists, respiratory therapists, nutritionists, and other specialists.Participate in the development of protocols and guidelines for the pediatric pulmonary department.Educate patients and their families about respiratory diseases, treatments, and preventive care measures.Perform bronchoscopies, pulmonary function tests, and other relevant procedures.Maintain up-to-date knowledge of advancements in pediatric pulmonary medicine and integrate them into clinical practice.Actively contribute to patient education initiatives, community outreach programs, and research projects within the department.Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and TruDoc Medical's standards of care.Mentor and supervise junior medical staff, and medical students in the department.Benefits :
