Overview
Gough Inc. is a family-owned construction company based in Merrillville, Indiana. We specialize in Industrial, Commercial, Institutional, and Site Utility construction. We are seeking a team-oriented experienced Project Manager / Construction Estimator to join our team and grow with us.
Position Overview
The Project Manager / Estimator is responsible for overseeing the complete lifecycle of construction projects—from accurate estimating and bidding to execution and project close-out. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical, planning, and leadership skills to ensure timely and cost-effective project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop accurate cost estimates, proposals, and project budgets
- Perform bid process activities : scope reviews, bid evaluations, and proposal submittals
- Oversee construction projects from planning through completion
- Track and report project costs, schedules, and financial performance
- Collaborate with on-site superintendents and manage subcontractors
- Maintain project timelines, identify and resolve risks or delays
- Communicate effectively with clients and internal stakeholders
- Attend project management, safety, and coordination meetings
