About the Opportunity
Join a licensed, Joint Commission–accredited acute care facility serving the Southwest Riverside County region. The hospital is a designated Trauma Center and Paramedic Base Station, performing thousands of surgeries and emergency visits each year. With Centers of Excellence in bariatric surgery and joint replacement, this facility is dedicated to delivering outstanding patient care and continuous performance improvement.
About the Role
As the Performance Improvement / Patient Experience RN Manager, you’ll champion a culture of patient-centered care and elevate the experience for patients and families. You’ll turn feedback and assessments into actionable improvements, identify opportunities for better service, and use Lean Six Sigma tools to sharpen processes and customer touch points. This is a collaborative leadership role—educating staff, driving best practices, and managing patient feedback and grievance processes.
Key Responsibilities :
Lead and implement patient experience and performance improvement strategies across the organization
Conduct assessments and translate findings into actionable improvements
Utilize Lean Six Sigma tools to enhance service and streamline processes
Educate and drive best practices among physicians, clinical, and non-clinical staff
Summarize and publish patient experience survey results
Oversee the complaint and grievance process, ensuring timely resolution
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver seamless, patient-focused care
Requirements
Completion of an accredited Registered Nurse program
Bachelor’s degree in a related field (required); Master’s degree preferred
Current California RN License (required)
Certified Patient Experience Professional (CPXP) and / or Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) preferred
Three years of clinical experience in an acute care setting with demonstrated management or leadership abilities
Experience in patient advocacy or complaint / grievance management preferred
One year of quality or performance improvement experience, including data analysis and management
Lean Six Sigma knowledge or certification preferred (or willingness to complete within two years)
