We are currently partnered up with a Manufacturing client in their search to add a Senior Environmental Manager to their EHS Team due to growth. This position will report up into the Director of EHS and will oversee a small team of environmental professionals. The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of experience within an environmental based role and will have experience overseeing multiple sites. Job Description

The Senior Environmental Manager - Manufacturing will be responsible for the following :

• Oversee all environmental programs for multiple manufacturing facilities, including air, water, waste, hazardous materials, and spill prevention.
• Ensure company-wide compliance with environmental laws and regulations (EPA, RCRA, CAA, CWA, TSCA, etc.).
• Develop, implement, and manage site-specific and corporate-wide environmental policies, procedures, and reporting systems.
• Lead environmental audits, inspections, risk assessments, and corrective actions.
• Coordinate and submit required environmental permits, reports, and documentation to regulatory agencies.
• Provide technical guidance and training to site-level EHS teams and operations personnel.
• Develop and track KPIs related to environmental performance, compliance, and sustainability goals.
• Partner with operations, maintenance, engineering, and leadership to integrate environmental best practices into daily operations and capital projects.
• Stay current with regulatory changes and industry trends; communicate potential impacts to stakeholders.
• Manage environmental consultants and vendors as needed for site assessments, remediation, or specialized services.
• Support corporate sustainability and ESG initiatives, including Scope 1-3 emissions tracking, waste minimization, and resource efficiency projects.
