Estimated Weekly Salary Estimated Weekly Pay Range : $1660 - $1700 per week Cardiac Telemetry RN Job Details Location : Augusta, Georgia 30901 (Georgia nursing jobs) Unit : Cardiac Telemetry 3 – 16 beds, adult / geriatric patient population Employment Type : Locum tenens, Travel Registered Nurse Shift : Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (19 : 00 - 07 : 00) Hours per Week : 36 Assignment Duration : 20 weeks (Start : 10 / 13 / 2025 – End : 3 / 2 / 2026) Weekend Coverage : 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule Floating : Required to other Cardiac Telemetry or hospital units Charting System : Epic (required) Scrub Color : Navy Blue Registered Nurse Qualifications Active Georgia or Compact RN license (must be in hand at time of submission) Minimum 1 year of recent Cardiac Telemetry nursing experience BLS and ACLS certifications (required for all RN jobs) Proficiency with Epic charting system Ability to float to other hospital units as needed Two supervisory references (Manager or above) highly preferred Flu vaccine required (medical / religious exemptions accepted) Compliance with full onboarding and orientation requirements Cardiac Telemetry RN Responsibilities Deliver high-quality nursing care to adult and geriatric patients with cardiac conditions (post-MI, heart failure, arrhythmias, chest pain, peripheral vascular disease) Monitor and interpret telemetry, EKG, and Doppler readings Manage cardiac drips (no titration), vasoactive drips (no titration), and provide post-cardiac angiogram / cath care Perform peritoneal dialysis and care for patients with renal failure Administer blood products, IV insulin protocols, and continuous bladder irrigation Care for central lines, PICC lines, chest tubes, surgical drains, and tracheostomies Document patient care using Epic and manage medications with Pyxis Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and collaborate with IV teams, respiratory services, physical therapy, and other clinical support staff Follow isolation precautions, rapid response protocols, and wound care procedures Float to other hospital units as needed and work assigned holidays per contract policy Apply now to join our healthcare team and take the next step in your travel nursing career in Augusta, Georgia!
