Marketing Student Internship - Digital Media Intern – Austin, TX   MLC CAD Systems partners with some of the most innovative companies in the world, helping them develop life-changing products using our design and manufacturing solutions that are the foundation of their businesses.

The needs of our customers and the technology we support – SolidWorks, Mastercam, and Markforged printers – are constantly evolving, requiring us to be at the forefront of industry trends to maintain our standard of Unbeatable Service to our customers.   The Digital Media Intern will support the Digital Media Specialist in various facets of the MLC CAD Systems Marketing operation.

The role will start as an Intern, with the opportunity to convert into a long-term role for the right candidate .    Mission :

• To manage social growth and engagement, while also supporting the execution of various digital and creative tasks.

Outcomes :

Social Media Support the creation / production of long form content Break long form content down into micro content Manage posting schedule across all channels Manage day-to-day engagement across all channels Identify high impact content opportunities based on engagement Design YouTube thumbnails for MLC CAD Systems’ channel Create graphics for social media posting     Paid Media Advertising Support the creation / production of paid media ads Specialization / s - Will have capability and / or passion in the following areas : Graphic Design Video Production Copywriting Social Media Analytics & Research Media Buying (other than PPC) Competencies : Strong time management Attention to detail Consistent and dependable Highly effective communicator Coachable Experience : Working toward a bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, advertising or related field.

Experience creating social media content across channels is a plus.

Experience with Project Management software such as Asana, Monday, Base Camp, is a plus.

Experience with graphic design software such as Canva is a plus.

Experience with Influencer and Affiliate marketing is a plus.

Compensation :

$20 / hour.
