What you´ll do

Establish quality standards for packaging components for both in-house and outsourced packaging, and help in the qualification of vendors supplying packaging components

Developing and implementing in-process quality standards for manufacturing groups. Critical Process Parameters (CPPS)

Coordinate the testing of individual unit, case, or pallet designs. Including setting shrink wrapping standards, and shipping standards.

Work with manufacturing on resolving packaging related problems and implementing cost saving and time saving packaging changes

R&D Liaison -  Helping in the development and design of packaging components

What makes you a good fit

B.S. degree in Industrial / Packaging or Mechanical Engineering required or equivalent work experience.

Previous experience with engineering theory and design preferred.

Excellent knowledge of engineering theories and design criteria.

Knowledge of packaging equipment, function and operation.

Must be proficient in the following PC software – Microsoft Word, MS Excel, MS Project or primavera, AutoCAD, (or equivalents).

The salary for this role is $95,000.00- $105,000.00. This is the range that we in good faith anticipate relying on when setting wages for this position.  We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range. This salary range may also be modified in the future.
