Health & Safety Consultant – PA State Police (Hybrid)

Location : Harrisburg, PA (Hybrid : State Police Headquarters, remote, and travel to worksites)

We are seeking a Health & Safety Consultant to support the Pennsylvania State Police. This hybrid role combines on-site work at State Police Headquarters, remote work, and travel to various worksites. The position is ideal for a safety professional who is adaptable, proactive, and committed to strengthening workplace safety culture.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the implementation of the State Police Action Plan by setting deadlines, assigning responsibilities, and tracking progress.
• Develop and deliver health and safety trainings (in-person and via webinar), creating or adapting materials as needed.
• Conduct assessments and audits to ensure compliance with the Accident and Illness Prevention Program (AIPP) and agency policies.
• Analyze injury and incident data, prepare technical reports, identify trends, and recommend corrective actions.
• Provide support in areas such as injury / illness prevention, industrial hygiene, and AIPP compliance.
• Work independently to provide on-site health and safety support and guidance.
• Build strong relationships across the organization through clear communication, customer service, and collaboration.
• Travel to assigned worksites as needed.
