CDL-A - Intermodal truck driver. Intermodal truck driver Average pay : $1,380-$1,680 weekly Home time : Every three weeks Experience : 12 months or greater CDL experience Overview Haul containers secured to company-owned chassis. 99% no-touch freight that is 80% drop-and-hook. Drive in and out of railyards within Arizona, Southern California and possibly Texas. Pay and bonus potential Mileage pay and load pay, plus hourly pay while on duty, not driving. Paid orientation. Paid time off after 6 months, plus 6 days of holiday pay per year. Annual bonus : Earn up to 3% of annual gross pay each year. Qualifications Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL). Tanker endorsement and HazMat endorsement are strongly preferred. Live within 30 miles of Phoenix, AZ. Minimum 12 months of Class A driving experience.
