Occupational Therapist (Day Shift)

Location :  Fort Pierce, FL, 34945

Shift :  12 hr Days | 07 : 00 AM - 07 : 00 PM

Job Type : Permanent, Full-Time

Guaranteed Hours :  (36 hours / week)

Compensation :  Based on experience (Negotiable)

Key Responsibilities :

  • Evaluate patients' physical and functional abilities and develop appropriate treatment plans.
  • Administer therapeutic interventions to restore function, improve mobility, relieve pain, and prevent or limit permanent physical disabilities.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Educate patients and families about treatment plans, progress, and goals.
  • Document patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
  • Adhere to regulatory and facility guidelines and protocols.

Required Qualifications :

  • Occupational Therapy Bachelor's Degree (or higher)
  • Active OT license in the state of Florida
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification—must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in Occupational Therapy within acute care, inpatient, or rehabilitation settings
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
