Location : West Valley, UT

Pay Rate : $18.00 / hour

Schedule : Monday – Friday. 8 : 00 AM – 5 : 30 PM

Occasional mandatory overtime may be required

Position Summary :

We are hiring a skilled and detail-oriented NPI Operator / Technician to join the New Product Introduction (NPI) team. This role focuses on supporting the development of catheter prototypes through precise manual assembly, hands-on lab work, and collaboration with engineers.

The ideal candidate is comfortable working under a microscope, has strong soldering / laser welding skills, and enjoys fast-paced, evolving environments.

Key Responsibilities :

• Assemble catheter prototypes : tubing, braiding, tipping, bonding, soldering, welding
• Operate lab-scale equipment : laser welders, hot boxes, micro torches, pullers
• Provide feedback to engineers on product quality and tooling
• Support early-stage builds and process optimization
• Document build steps, materials used, and results accurately
• Follow cleanroom protocols, SOPs, and safety guidelines
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace
• Perform routine equipment checks and basic maintenance
• Work both independently and collaboratively within a small team
