Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git). Job Description
We are seeking a local detail-oriented and experienced SQL Database Developer on a contract basis to support our data-driven initiatives. The ideal candidate will be work onsite and be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining SQL-based solutions that ensure efficient data access, transformation, and reporting across the organization.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and functions.
- Design and implement database schemas and data models to support business applications.
- Collaborate with business analysts and developers to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Perform data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) tasks.
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across systems.
- Monitor and troubleshoot database performance issues.
- Assist in database migration, upgrades, and backup / recovery processes.
- Document database structures, processes, and standards.
