Job Title : CNC Machinist

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to operate CNC machines with precision and efficiency. The ideal candidate will be adept at using various measurement tools and possess extensive experience in machining, particularly with composite materials.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC machines and perform machine set-ups, averaging 3-4 set-ups per shift.
• Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and drawings.
• Change over machines and ensure smooth operation.
• Monitor machine operation to detect malfunctions or out-of-tolerance machining and adjust offsets as needed.
• Produce parts within a predetermined production time frame.
• Utilize Fanuc and DNG controls during operations.
• Work primarily with composite materials, especially fiberglass, maintaining tolerances of + / - .001.

Work Environment

Our facility is climate-controlled, ensuring a comfortable work environment. Shifts are available both day (5 a.m. - 5 p.m.) and night (5 p.m. - 5 a.m.), Monday through Thursday, with occasional overtime. The team is small and collaborative, fostering a supportive and dynamic atmosphere.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Houston, Texas.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $32.00 / hr.
