Staffmark is hiring a Benefits Coordinator in Lafayette, LA! Join a dynamic Human Resources team and play a key role in managing and administering employee benefits programs. If you have experience in benefits administration, are detail-oriented, and enjoy helping employees navigate their benefits, this could be the perfect opportunity.

Pay : $68,000 / year

Shift : 1st Shift

What You'll Do :

• Manage employee benefit programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, life insurance, and wellness programs
• Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations
• Process enrollments, changes, and terminations accurately and timely in Workday and carrier portals
• Collaborate with insurance providers and vendors for smooth benefits operations
• Audit and approve benefit enrollments, life events, and status changes; maintain accurate documentation
• Reconcile and code benefit invoices and submit to Finance
• Track and manage leaves of absence, including FMLA, and ensure accurate COBRA administration
• Approve 401(k) withdrawals and assist with annual 401(k) audits
• Support HR team with benefits renewals and other assigned projects
• Maintain confidentiality and provide guidance to employees on their benefits
