Travel Nursing Job Details Job Title : Med / Surg Telemetry Registered Nurse (Travel RN) Location : Tuscaloosa, Alabama 35401 Healthcare Setting : Trauma Surgical Unit – acute care for trauma, surgical, ortho, and urology patients Employment Type : Travel Nursing Assignment Shift : 12-hour nights (7 : 00 PM – 7 : 00 AM) Weekly Hours : 36 (option for 48 hours per week) Contract Length : 16 weeks (Start : 10 / 27 / 2025 – End : 2 / 14 / 2026) Guaranteed Hours : 36 per week Estimated Weekly Pay : $1,720 - $1,840 per week Parking : On-site available Dress Code : Solid Navy Scrubs Registered Nurse Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Alabama or Compact state (no temporary licenses) Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS or Red Cross certification Minimum 2 years of nursing experience; candidates with at least 18 months of experience and 1 year in specialty considered Clinical experience in Med / Surg Telemetry, trauma, orthopedics, or urology preferred Willingness to float to other units and hospitals as needed Experience with Meditech EMR preferred RN Responsibilities Provide patient-centered care to trauma, surgical, orthopedic, and urology patients Collaborate with physicians, hospitalists, and surgical specialists in a multidisciplinary healthcare team Maintain a 1 : 6 nurse-to-patient ratio for individualized care Float to other units and hospitals to support patient care needs Accurately document patient care using Meditech EMR Comply with solid navy dress code and facility protocols Discover the energy and hospitality of Tuscaloosa, Alabama, while making a difference in a leading trauma surgical unit.
