Every Other Weekend Required | 3 of 6 Holidays Required | Float to Like Units

Job Summary :

The Registered Nurse (RN) provides professional nursing care to patients in a fast-paced Med Surg / Telemetry unit. The RN plans, implements, and documents care based on individual patient needs and collaborates with the interdisciplinary team to ensure high-quality outcomes.

Responsibilities :

Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for assigned patients.

Monitor and interpret telemetry rhythms and respond to changes in patient condition.

Administer medications and perform therapeutic interventions per physician orders.

Maintain accurate and timely documentation.

Promote evidence-based practices and patient-centered care.

Requirements :

Active NJ RN License or Compact License

ASN required; BSN preferred

BLS (AHA) , Telemetry , NIHSS , and Stroke CEU (4 hours) required

Minimum 2 years of recent Med Surg / Telemetry experience in an acute care hospital

Strong ability to manage patient load and prioritize care in a high-acuity setting

Shift : 7 : 00 AM – 7 : 30 PM (3x12s)

Assignment : 13 Weeks

Every Other Weekend & Holidays Required | First to Float | 5–6 : 1 Patient Ratio
