Entry – Level Customer Support Specialist (Hybrid) – Elk Grove Village, IL

$50,000 - $58,000 / Annually – (Based on experience)

Hybrid Schedule : 3 days in office, 2 days work from home

About the Role

As an  Entry-Level Customer Support Specialist (Hybrid) , you'll be the face of our customer relationships—helping automotive partners identify the right products, track their orders, and coordinate with our internal teams to ensure smooth delivery from quote to shipment.

What You’ll Do

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned customers—guiding them through the product selection and ordering process
  • Manage all stages of the order cycle : from quoting and entry to confirmation, shipping, and after-sale follow-up
  • Provide accurate, real-time updates on inventory, lead times, and order status
  • Liaise with engineering, production, quality, and logistics to ensure customer expectations are met
  • Maintain detailed and organized records within our ERP and CRM systems

Requirements :

  • Bachelor’s degree (mechanical background a plus)
  • Customer service or account coordination experience is helpful—but not required
  • Interest in the automotive industry and a willingness to learn
  • Mechanical aptitude and curiosity about how things work
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, etc.)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and reliable
