Job Description

PURPOSE AND SCOPE :

The PT Specialist III,Library is responsible for providing computer lab assistance to college students, directing students to library resource materials and open computer lab, creating Student ID cards, checking in / out books and videos for students. He or She sorts and distributes mail, answers phone calls, and responds to routine questions. He or She maintains supplies and forms needed for daily operation.

PHYSICAL ABILITIES :

The work is sedentary. Typically, the employee sits comfortably to do the work. However, there may be some walking; standing; bending; carrying of light items, such as papers, books, or small parts; or driving an automobile. No special physical demands are required to perform the work.
