About The Position
We are seeking an Emergency Medicine Physician for a 14-day locum tenens assignment in Iowa, starting Oct 6, 2025. This role requires managing the emergency department with shifts from 7 AM to 7 AM the following day. The successful candidate will handle both ER and inpatient care duties, supported by a Tele-Hospitalist team.

Responsibilities and Duties
Manage the emergency department, assessing, diagnosing, and initiating treatment for patients.Oversee admissions from the ER, managing the order panel and inpatient care.Coordinate with Avera E-Care Tele-Hospitalist and Tele-Specialists for inpatient support.Stabilize patients for transport to labor and delivery as necessary.Additional Information
Must be licensed to practice in Iowa.Experience in rural healthcare, hospitalist or acute care, and emergency medicine preferred.Familiarity with Cerner EMR systems is necessary.Benefits
