Four (4) years of professional adjusting experience is preferred. A postsecondary degree from an accredited college or university may be used as an alternative for years of experience on a year-for-year basis.

The salary range for this position will be filled at $75,000.00 - $77,250.00, based on experience. Employees of the Department of Financial Services are paid on a monthly pay cycle. The work hours for this position are from 8 : 00 a.m. 5 : 00 p.m., Monday through Friday. This position requires a security background check, including fingerprint as a condition of employment.

Minimum qualifications for this position include the following required entry level knowledge, skills, and abilities :
Brief description of duties : Responsible for the overall supervision of all claims and claims activity. This includes the supervising and direction of staff (Risk Management Program Specialists and Administrative Support) assigned to this Region, and the defense attorneys and contract adjusters performing services in this Unit, in the evaluation and disposition of case files. Provides training and motivation of staff and exercises control over the reserving and settlement of complicated technical and involved claims.
