WCS Healthcare Partners is seeking a local contract Surgical Technologist for a local contract job in Concord, Massachusetts.

WCS Healthcare is currently seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist for an ongoing assignment at Prestigious Hospital in Concord, MA.

Job Function : \n

  • Night Shift.

    • \n

  • Maintain proper sterile field during surgical procedures.

    • \n

  • Count sponges, needles, and instruments before and after operation and document according to policy.

    • \n

  • Prepare patients for surgery as requested.

    • \n

  • Provide technical assistance to surgeons, OR nurses, or anesthesiologists as needed.

    • \n

  • Wash and sterilize equipment using proper sterilization techniques.

    • \n

  • Operate, adjust, and maintain equipment to ensure proper operation.

    • \n

  • Take inventory and order surgical supplies as needed.

    • \n \n

    Job Requirements : \n

  • Completion of accredited Surgical Technologist program.

    • \n

  • Hold Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) from National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA).

    • \n

  • BLS preferred (American Heart Association).

    • \n

  • 1 year of experience as a certified Surgical Tech working in an OR setting is required.
