Job Title : Order Picker

Job Description

As an Order Picker, you will be responsible for efficiently picking orders using a Raymond Cherry Picker. You will follow orders displayed on a screen and use an RF scan gun to ensure product accuracy. Your duties will include packing and palletizing orders, handling and marking pallets for dispatch, receiving incoming products, identifying and resolving discrepancies, and preparing products for storage. You will also conduct cycle counts, verify bin locations, and consolidate inventory as needed.

Responsibilities

• Operate a Raymond Cherry Picker to fulfill order picking tasks.
• Use an RF scan gun to scan products and ensure accuracy.
• Pack and palletize orders following procedures for handling and marking.
• Receive and process incoming products according to warehouse management systems.
• Identify and resolve discrepancies in received products.
• Prepare products for storage and conduct cycle counts.
• Verify bin locations and consolidate inventory as necessary.

Work Environment

The work environment is a large distribution and warehouse setting, operating in shifts of 7-4 and 9-6. Each shift includes an unpaid one-hour lunch break and two paid 15-minute breaks. Safety is a priority, and employees are required to wear steel-toed boots that extend above the ankle, pants without holes or frays, and sleeved shirts (t-shirts, long sleeves, or sweatshirts). You will work as part of a team of approximately 10 people.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of MINNEAPOLIS, Minnesota.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00 / hr.
