Bay Ridge Honda is looking for a seasoned Business Development Manager to lead and evolve our BDC operations. This is not a training-ground role—we need someone who’s been in the hot seat, knows how to drive showroom traffic, convert online leads, and hold a team accountable.
What We’re Looking For :
- Automotive BDC leadership experience required (minimum 3 years preferred).
- Hands-on experience with Reynolds & Reynolds CRM / DMS.
- Proven ability to lead, train, and motivate a high-performance team of BDC reps.
- A metrics-driven mindset : you know your outbound calls, appointment set rate, and show-to-sale ratios.
- A strong communicator who can collaborate effectively with Sales and Service departments.
- Professional, organized, and committed to delivering exceptional customer service experiences.
Your Day-to-Day :
Oversee all inbound and outbound customer communications (Sales & Service).Train and coach BDC agents on phone etiquette, email / text follow-up, and closing techniques.Analyze performance KPIs daily and adjust strategies to hit appointment and conversion targets.Coordinate closely with Sales Managers to optimize lead handoff and follow-through.Manage and refine workflows inside Reynolds & Reynolds for efficiency and accountability.Take ownership of lead response times, appointment-setting scripts, and long-term nurture processes.Why Bay Ridge Honda?
