Travel RN Job Details Location : Peoria, IL 61637 (Illinois healthcare jobs) Facility Setting : Acute Care, Medical / Surgical Unit (29 beds) Assignment Length : 13 weeks (Start : 10 / 27 / 2025 – End : 1 / 26 / 2026) Shift : 12-hour nights (7 : 00pm – 7 : 00am), 3 shifts / week, includes weekend and holiday rotation Guaranteed Hours : 36 hours per week Estimated Weekly Pay : $1990-$2130 Charting System : EPIC EMR Dress Code : Any color scrubs (self-provided) Registered Nurse Qualifications Active Illinois Registered Nurse (RN) license or proof of application in process BLS certification (American Heart Association preferred) Minimum 1 year of recent Medical / Surgical RN experience Proficient in titrating Heparin drips Negative drug screen required (OSF is a Drug-Free Campus) Willingness to float to similar Med / Surg units as needed Med / Surg RN Responsibilities Deliver high-quality patient care to adults with medical diagnoses including GI bleeds, sepsis, CHF, cellulitis, COVID-19, osteomyelitis, DVT, pulmonary embolism, and elderly falls Monitor and titrate Heparin drips according to protocols Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team : Charge RN, Crisis RN, administrative supervisor, and patient care techs Perform IV starts and utilize unit resources as needed Accurately document patient care and assessments using EPIC electronic medical records Participate in weekend and holiday rotations as scheduled Complete two shifts of unit-specific orientation Take the next step in your nursing career with this rewarding travel RN job in Peoria, Illinois.
