The AdventHealth Championship is accepting applications for the 2026 Championship Intern Program. The AdventHealth Championship, a PGA TOUR-sanctioned event on the Korn Ferry Tour, is conducted annually at Blue Hills Country Club in Kansas City, Mo. This four-day, 72-hole competition features 156 players from around the world vying for a total purse of $1,000,000. As the path to the PGA TOUR, the Korn Ferry Tour features some of the most talented professional golfers who are ready to compete and win on golf's biggest stage. The 2026 AdventHealth Championship will be held August 17-23 and serve as the last regular season event. For the first time ever, this year's Championship will be broadcast nationally on The Golf Channel.

Social Media & Graphic Design Intern Overview The Social Media & Graphic Design Intern will work alongside full-time Championship Staff on all aspects of the marketing efforts for the only PGA TOUR-sanctioned event in Kansas City. This position will also include experience in marketing, sponsorship fulfillment, and overall event execution. The ideal candidate will possess an editorial eye for design, along with strong written and oral communication skills, be creative and detail oriented, have the ability to work independently on multiple projects, and a willingness to go above and beyond for tournament stakeholders. This internship is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are interested in pursuing a career in sports marketing, social media, graphic design, or related field.

Social Media

  • Plan, create, and execute on-brand, detailed social media calendar with various departments in mind (sales, sponsorship, events, community, volunteers) in regards to each platform (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn)
  • Work closely with videographer and photography team to create detailed tournament week social media plan, to create / execute / post time-sensitive content in fast paced setting
  • Identify potential new social media trends / content to incorporate and / or other opportunities for new engagement
  • Track engagement and growth for all social platforms

Graphic Design

  • Create on-brand, design-forward graphics and social content to go along with social media plans and marketing efforts
  • Update sales and marketing materials, event promotional pieces and tickets / credentials
  • Assist with sponsor signage as needed
  • Marketing Support

  • Work closely with Championship staff to :
  • Help with marketing initiatives re : sales, events and overall marketing strategies

  • Plan, create content (copy & graphics), and execute all Championship email communications
  • Assist with website updates and maintenance as needed
  • Skills needed Knowledge of Adobe Illustrator & Canva are a must, experience with graphic design and content creation, video editing is preferred. Must be creative, detail-oriented, ability to think outside the box, and possess editorial eye for design, including understanding how visuals support and enhance written content / messaging, brand consistency, visual hierarchy & clarity, refined aesthetic judgement, and ability to work collaboratively with marketing team.

    Application Information

  • The internship is paid and must be part of college curriculum / class credit in order to qualify for the position.
  • Internship timeframe : Mid-January (flexible depending on availability) through August 28, 2026.
  • Hours : For the first three months 20-30 hours per week, then increased hours thereafter with a full workload in the last 4-6 weeks leading up to the event. Additional hours may be required for certain events throughout the internship.
