SFMC is currently hiring for a Junior Processor.

Requirements

The Junior Loan Processor will prepare the loan files, review loan applications, and collect additional information as appropriate. Duties include :

  • Performing new loan set up on residential mortgage loans.
  • Ensuring quality is consistent with all company policies and procedures as well as meeting all regulatory requirements
  • Managing the timeline to ensure timely receipts of all required documents, and following up with the appropriate party
  • Service Order requests including but not limited to : appraisals, titles, tax returns, social security verifications, employment verification, deposit verification, flood certificates etc.
  • Obtaining borrower verifications
  • Working closely with internal and external contacts to highlight deficiencies
  • May be asked to carry small pipeline with Ops Management Approval
  • Additional assistant duties for designated Loan Officer may include :

  • Manage the Loan Officer(s) calendar, including follow-up, appointment setting and time blocking as appropriate.
  • Primary point of contact for phone calls.
  • Manage the CRM, including follow-ups with warm leads and closed loans.
  • Pipeline management, including scheduled pipeline reviews, daily tracking and weekly status calls to customers.
  • Utilization of designated Sales tools and reporting methods.
  • Education and / or Work Experience Requirements :

  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • 2 + years of previous mortgage experience
