Martin Wheel is a growing manufacturer and importer of tires and wheel assemblies for Lawn and Garden, Agricultural, Industrial, and Trailer applications. Our products are sold to equipment manufacturers as well as through various aftermarket and e-commerce channels.
Position Summary :
The Paint Line Lead Operator is responsible for performing basic to advanced equipment setup tasks and facility services with minimal supervision according to an outlined plan.

Education and / or Work Experience Requirements :
High school diploma or equivalent is requiredTwo (2) year minimum work experience on Powder Coating LineForklift experience is a plusKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required :
Excellent active listening, verbal, and written communication skillsExcellent organizational and time management skills and attention to detailKnowledge of parts washer for cleaning parts for a Powder Coating LineAbility to solve problems, work as a team or individuallyIntermediate to advanced ability to troubleshoot paint line and powder coating issues on various production equipmentProficient with Microsoft OfficeEssential Duties and Responsibilities :
Perform scheduled and unplanned setups on the Paint LinePerform scheduled and unplanned maintenance of wash and paint booth equipment including but not limited to other paint line related equipmentTroubleshoot, diagnose and repair Nordson and Wagner powder coating equipmentPerform daily setup / maintenance tasks for the powder coat lineRecord parts or materials used and requisition new parts or materials as necessarySupport maintenance staff on any issues with paint lineProvide support and assist with project work directed by the plant leadership team or project leadsWork with hourly production workers to maintain quality parts and keep Paint Line runningWork in other departments when the paint line is not runningPerforms other duties as assignedWorking Condition and Physical Requirements :
Work is normally performed in a manufacturing environmentPhysical demands of the position are sitting, standing, walking, and liftingMay require working in a variety of weather conditions and may involve exposure to dust, fumes, and other airborne particlesMust be able to lift 50 lbs at one timeEqual Opportunity Employer (EOE).
