✨ Position Summary

Join our dynamic team as you perform imaging procedures in an Urgent Care environment, ensuring high-quality patient care. You may also step into the role of a Medical Assistant when needed, making a real difference in our patients' lives.

🔑 Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Under general supervision or direction, you will :

  • Provide essential patient care during imaging procedures, exercising professional judgment in line with health system policies and standards.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in operating all relevant equipment and computer systems.
  • Function as a Medical Assistant by rooming patients, obtaining vitals, reconciling medications, and interviewing patients to identify chief complaints.
  • Ensure accurate documentation in the EMR system.
  • Utilize your initiative, good judgment, and technical expertise to perform a wide range of imaging procedures.
  • Embrace teamwork in all aspects of providing exceptional patient services.

    • 📋 Minimum Qualifications

  • Graduate of a JRCERT accredited Radiography program.
  • ARRT Certification / Eligible in good standing.
  • State of Connecticut License / Eligible.
  • Strong judgment and problem-solving skills, with the ability to function independently.
  • Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks / projects simultaneously.

  • Three to five years of experience as a Registered Radiologic Technologist (ARRT, RDMS, NMTCB, etc.).
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Demonstrated competency in various imaging modalities.
  • Excellent communication skills (oral and written) to interact positively with all levels of healthcare workers and guests.
  • Flexibility and teamwork to ensure positive patient care.
  • Proficient in computer skills, including word processing and spreadsheets.
