About Reacher : We're the #1 TikTok Shop partner helping brands like Under Armour, Hanes, HeyDude, and Logitech scale their affiliate marketing. We've crossed 7 figures in ARR and are looking to raise a seed round and double our team by this year.

Our vision is to become the Hubspot for creator marketing, powering brands and creators to connect and grow across all commerce platforms like YouTube Shopping, Instagram Shopping, Shopify, and Amazon. Reacher will be a key infrastructure component of the creator economy.

Your leadership will directly impact our trajectory. You\'ll shape the technical foundation that supports our rapidly growing user base and build the engineering culture that will scale with us.

What you\'ll do

  • Lead and scale our engineering team as we double in size this year
  • Set technical vision and architecture strategy to support 10x growth
  • Build and refine engineering processes, culture, and best practices
  • Partner closely with product and business teams to translate company goals into technical roadmaps
  • Make critical build vs. buy decisions and drive architectural choices
  • Mentor engineers and establish career development frameworks
  • Own system reliability, performance, and security at scale
  • Recruit, interview, and onboard top engineering talent
  • Balance technical debt, feature velocity, and infrastructure investments
  • Drive technical decisions across our stack (Python, FastAPI, PostgreSQL, GCP, React, Tailwind)

You're a fit if

  • You have 8+ years of engineering experience with 3+ years in engineering leadership roles
  • You've scaled engineering teams from 5-20+ people at a high-growth startup
  • You've got hands-on experience with modern web technologies and can still code when needed
  • You've built systems that handle significant scale and know how to architect for growth
  • You're product-minded and understand how technical decisions impact business outcomes
  • You're resilient in ambiguous, fast-moving environments and can prioritize ruthlessly
  • You have experience with hiring, performance management, and building engineering culture
  • You can communicate technical concepts clearly to both engineers and non-technical stakeholders
  • In-person in San Francisco, CA
  • You've been a founding engineer or early engineering hire (first 5-10 employees)
  • You have experience in e-commerce, creator economy, or marketplace platforms
  • You've led teams through fundraising and rapid scaling phases
  • You're excited about AI / ML applications and automation
  • You have experience with affiliate marketing, influencer platforms, or social commerce
  • You've built developer tools, internal platforms, or B2B SaaS products
  • Lead engineering at a post-revenue company solving real problems for major brands
  • Shape both the technical architecture and engineering culture from the ground up
  • High autonomy and direct impact on company direction
  • Equity upside as we scale toward our next funding round
  • Work directly with founders and have a voice in company strategy
  • Build the team and systems that will power the next phase of the creator economy
