Technical Sales Specialist
Our client, a global leader in specialty chemicals, is seeking a Technical Sales Specialist to drive growth across the Midwest / East Coast regions. This is a remote position with a focus on the baking and meat product sectors.
As the technical and commercial link between the company and its customers, you’ll promote innovative ingredient solutions while providing hands-on support to R&D teams and distribution partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Grow sales of functional food ingredients and related services
- Work with client company R&D teams to co-develop new product applications
- Provide technical expertise and training to customers and distributors
- Identify trends and business opportunities in the U.S. food market
- Manage pricing, quotes, and forecasts within company guidelines
- Maintain CRM records and contribute to market strategy and planning
- Represent the company at trade shows and industry events
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Nutrition , or related fieldStrong understanding of food formulation and processingExcellent communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving skillsCandidates must have a background in food ingredient sales (business to business) and the ability to cover the Midwest and East coast territory.Proficiency with CRM systems (Salesforce preferred)Willingness to travel up to 50%What’s Offered : Competitive pay, 10–15% bonus, full benefits, 401(k), paid time off, parental leave, great work-life balance and company culture.
