Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Pediatric Cardiovascular ICU position, requiring an OH or compact RN license and willingness to float to multiple pediatric units.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

  • Work in the Pediatric Cardiovascular ICU (CVPICU) within a hospital setting
  • Float to NICU, PICU, ED, stepdown, and medical-surgical units as needed
  • Night shift schedule with three 12-hour shifts per week (19 : 00 to 7 : 30)
  • Assigned patient population includes critically ill pediatric and cardiac infants and children
  • Provide direct care to pediatric cardiovascular ICU patients and support other pediatric units as floated
  • No local candidates permitted due to facility radius rules
  • Strict attendance and punctuality policies are enforced for all travelers
  • No on-call or mandatory call shifts required
  • First-time travelers will be considered if minimum experience is met

  • Active OH or compact RN license in hand at the time of consideration
  • Preference for nearly 2 years of recent pediatric ICU nursing experience
  • Must provide 2 supervisory references, with at least one from a supervisor or manager
  • Must be willing and able to float between NICU, PICU, ED, stepdown, and MS units
  • Cannot have been a permanent employee at the facility within the past 2 years
  • Candidates must reside outside a 60-mile radius from the facility
