About The Position We are seeking an experienced Urgent Care Physician Assistant for a 2-day locum tenens assignment in New York. This opportunity begins on Oct 24, 2025, and features shifts from 8 am to 8 pm and 9 am to 4 pm. The provider will serve as the sole clinician, handling a diverse range of urgent care cases using the Epic EMR platform. Job Details Location : New York Start Date : Oct 24, 2025 LOA : 2 days Provider Type Needed : Urgent Care Physician Assistant Schedule : Oct 24, 8 am–8 pm; Oct 25, 9 am–4 pm Responsibilities and Duties Serve as the sole provider delivering urgent care services Manage and treat a variety of cases presenting to the clinic Provide comprehensive patient assessments and initiate appropriate interventions Perform minor procedures as required by urgent care standards Document all patient encounters using Epic EMR Ensure adherence to clinical protocols and quality standards Additional Information Must hold a valid New York license Board certification not required Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications required Prior experience in urgent care settings strongly preferred Benefits Strong compensation Travel-related expenses covered A-rated medical malpractice insurance provided Dedicated recruiter for future travel opportunities What are Locum Tenens Jobs?
