Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Community Manager to oversee the daily operations of our manufactured housing community (mobile home park). Our owner has been making dramatic improvements to the infrastructure of the community and will soon be making investments in marketing and tech as well. We are looking for the right candidate and can structure the role to accommodate a schedule of 20 to 40 hours, based on candidate availability.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Manage resident relations, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly
  • Oversee property maintenance, coordinating with vendors to maintain community standards
  • Enforce community rules and regulations fairly and consistently and quickly
  • Handle leasing, rent collection, and administrative tasks using Rent Manager software
  • Help drive marketing and strategic improvement decisions
  • Conduct regular property inspections to ensure safety, maintenance and cleanliness on rented homes
  • Market available lots and units to attract new residents
  • Regular contact with actively involved owner

Qualifications :

  • Operational knowledge and experience using Rent Manager software required
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience in property management, customer service, or related field preferred
  • Ability to handle conflict resolution and foster a positive community environment
  • Basic computer skills for record-keeping and reporting
  • Self-motivated with strong organizational skills
  • Knowledge of manufactured housing regulations is a plus
  • Experience with manufactured homes is a plus
  • Must pass a background check

    • Schedule & Compensation :

  • Flexible hours : Part-time to full-time (20–40 hours / week, negotiable) but primarily business hours.
  • Competitive salary based on experience
  • Potential for on-site housing or other benefits (if applicable)
