About The Position

License : Active nursing license required

Certifications : BLS required

Must-Have : Correctional experience preferred

Description :

Position requires a Registered Nurse specializing in correctional care.

The shift consists of three 12-hour shifts from 11 : 00 AM to 11 : 30 PM.

There are no block scheduling accommodations available.

Every other weekend coverage is required.

Time off requests are limited to a maximum of five days, with no more than two consecutive days.

No time off requests are permitted on holidays or the days immediately before or after.

Clinicians will be required to float within their scope to meet facility needs.

All resources are required to float as needed by the facility.

Candidates must have a blend of correctional experience or experience in a medical-surgical setting.

Ability to manage isolation precautions and provide wound care is essential.

Experience with computerized documentation is required.

The facility may request that clinicians float outside of their home facility, within a 50-mile radius.

Failure to float when requested may result in cancellation of contracts.

Compliance with all facility policies is mandatory.

The candidate must be responsive and provide timely updates on any required documentation.

Vaccinations are required, with proof needed one week before the start date.

Boosters are not required.
