Position Overview :

  • Ofinno is looking for a paralegal with patent prosecution experience   to work with attorneys to manage dockets, prepare and file US and foreign patent documents, prepare correspondence related to filings, docket and track deadlines, interact with inventors, and correspond with foreign associates.  Key Responsibilities : As a Patent Paralegal, you will be responsible for :   Working closely with patent attorneys and paralegals to prepare and file patent documents with the USPTO and WIPO  Tracking cases using public patent retrieval systems (Patent Center, ePCT, Espacenet) and patent docketing systems  Preparing Information Disclosure Statements  Researching patent prosecution issues  Generating patent and portfolio documents, presentations, and reports  Assisting with complex sales to large domestic and international organizations Other tasks as needed  Qualifications : Bachelor's degree in related field 2+ years experience as a patent paralegal  Experience with a docketing system   Experience working with Patent Center, ePCT, and Espacenet Proficiency in Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.)  High-level attention to detail What else you should know :   Our people are our business. We know you have to see it to believe it, but here are some of the perks you can count on :   401(K) matching We help you plan and save for retirement with a 401(K) matching program that’s available on day one.   Free healthcare plans Ofinno covers full premiums for you are your family on select healthcare plans, including employer HSA contributions if applicable.  Free Food Our kitchen is always fully stocked, including lunch, protein bars, fruit, sodas, coffee, and tea.   Unlimited Paid Time Off Our lives are enriched by family time, vacations, and personal time.
