SPECIALTY : GENERAL SURGERY (Inpatient) LOCATION : DELAWARE JOB TYPE : LOCUMS JOB NUMBER : 48946 DESCRIPTION : EMR : EPICTraditional on-call responsibilities for a general surgeon include emergency department calls / consults and hospital calls / consults.Trauma Level III.Advanced Support Staff : Technicians, Advanced Practice Clinicians, and Nursing staffFacility (Seasonal influx) : There may be an increase in patient cases during the summer tourist season.REQUIRED : DE state license; active, unrestricted. IMLC LOQ candidates are welcome to apply.Board Certified SurgeryDEA, BLS.Cases : appendicitis, bowel blockages, broken limbs, auto accident injuries, crime victims, fall victims, and post-operative readmissionsMinimum commitment : 6-months. COMPENSATION : Competitive Market Rate (rate based on availability, experience, certifications, housing, and transportation needs, etc.)Malpractice insurance provided.SCHEDULE : Typically, 7 AM to 7 AM, 24-hr shifts. Weekends may start at 5 pm.
