Mobility Specialist CNA
Responsible for the provision and administration of specific mobility treatments under the direct supervision of the delegating rehab or nursing professional (PT, PTA, OT, COTA, ST, RN, LPN). Mobility Treatments include, but are not limited to : gait with appropriate assistive device, transfers, and exercises (both active and passive range of motion). The CNA Mobility Specialist as directed and supervised by the rehab or nursing professional, assists with restoration of patient functioning to prevent disability following injury, disease or physical disability. Assists patients to reach their maximum performance and level of functioning while learning to live within the limits of their capabilities. The CNA Mobility Specialist also participates in operational aspects of the department including, but not limited to : answering phones, cleaning rooms, stocking rooms, ordering supplies, and participates in Performance Improvement activities.
